As Realtors, we work to think outside of the box when listing your home for sale. As mentioned in previous blog posts, we share your listing on our social networking sites and with other Minnesota Real Estate Agents we know. Another form of networking we do for your home is share it with our database of past clients.
We share your listing with our past clients for a couple of reasons. First of all, it never hurts to let as many people as possible know about a new listing. One of our past clients may be looking to move into your neighborhood or area. By letting our past clients know about your home, we are opening it up to a large set of potential buyers which is great to maximize the exposure your home gets while on the market.
The second reason to let our past clients know about your home is that while they might not be interested in moving, they may know someone that is interested in moving into your neighborhood. It is often said that we each know 150 people. So if each of our clients know at least 150 the chance is good that they might know someone that wants to live in your area. This kind of exposure can help get a house sold quickly!
